We know churches. In this modern era where churches are no longer considered the physically centered hub for defining contemporary communities, there are now newfound opportunities for rethinking how church architectural programming and ministerial engagement can co-create new ways of servicing and connecting churches with their respective communities.

Instead of church leaders engaging with architects and ordering prescribed building changes, or architects specializing in church design offering pre-determined ‘solutions’ that their experience teaches them to construct, we work with designers, architects, and church leaders in replacing the traditional programmatic approach to church design.

We intentionally shift church design from “transactional creativity” to a co-collaborative creative process that challenges church architectural norms. This approach abandons the idea of borrowing, transplanting, or procuring ideas seen at another church to build a borrowed framework for ministry and instead intently focuses on curating novel approaches specific to the church’s community, calling, and congregation.

The resultant leverages creativity in layered spheres to forge new ministerial approaches effective for a modern church with an unchanging great commission.
